Financial Aid

Summit Academy offers need-based tuition assistance. 

The amount of financial aid awarded to each family is based on the total number of applicants requesting aid, and on the total amount of financial aid dollars that are available from fund-raising efforts each year.

For the 2010-2011 school year, we are using the NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) financial aid service called:

The School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS)

All applications for financial aid are to be made through SSS.

OUR SCHOOL CODE IS #5089.  You will receive a separate password for your personal financial information.  

You can apply online by clicking the RED SSS link above,

OR

get a written application from Summit Academy, by calling Fred Sabo, Business Manager at (502) 244-7090.

SSS will analyze the information from each family and submit a report to Summit Academy.   Based on this information, a non-parent Trustee committee will make the award decisions.  Decisions are made within 4 - 6 weeks of submission of financial aid application to The School and Student Service for Financial Aid.
