At Summit Academy, our small class sizes and uniquely structured day cater specifically to students’ needs.

Grades 1-12 attend math and literacy at the same time each day. This enables the formation of academic groups based on individual achievement and readiness, not solely by age or grade level. These groupings are flexible and may be adjusted throughout the year as a student progresses. Curriculum decisions are made according to student readiness, as opposed to a mandated, time-sensitive sequence. Our students learn at their own pace in an environment that is distinctly different from other school settings.

Math and Literacy groups consist of approximately 7-8 students.

Our students say this low ratio allows them to get immediate attention from teachers and helps them feel seen and heard in the classroom.

Our teachers say the smaller groupings help them build relationships and better understand the unique learning needs of each student.

Summit Academy's academic program helps prepare students for a range of options after high school, including 4-year universities. In addition to academic classes, students attend technology, physical education, art, music, and library each week.

Summit Academy's annual expenses are not covered by tuition and fees alone. Every gift, regardless of its size is important to Summit's success. Donate today to the 2025 Mountaintop Fund and help us continue to provide a compassionate environment for all. All who donate will be invited to a special appreciation event on the morning of November 13.
