This wonderful bourbon is bottled as close to barrel proof as possible. We add just a splash of our Kentucky limestone well-water when we empty the barrels for bottling. Thus, this whiskey is as smooth as any you will find.

VAN WINKLE SPECIAL RESERVE 12 YEAR

The perfect combination of age and proof, this sweet, full-bodied whiskey has been described by some as “nectar.” The 12 years of aging and medium proof seem to be just right in creating a very pleasant drink of whiskey. This fine bourbon can compete with any excellent cognac as an after-dinner drink.

RAFFLE DETAILS

Must be 21 years of age or older to enter. $100 per chance. No purchase limits.

The raffle winner will be chosen on April 24, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.

  • The raffle will run from January 31, 2025 – April 24, 2025.
  • The raffle winner will get to choose from the Pappy Van Winkle 6-Bottle Collection or a $5,000 cash prize (The winner does not receive both).
  • Email confirmation of raffle ticket purchases, including assigned raffle ticket number(s), will be sent within seven days. Raffle ticket numbers will also be posted on summit-academy.org/raffle25. No physical raffle tickets will be distributed.
  • The winner will be selected in a random drawing held on April 24, 2025. Only one winner will be chosen. The drawing will be open to the public and broadcast via Facebook Live. Need not be present to win.
  • The winner will be announced at the drawing and notified via phone, email, and/or certified mail within seven days of the drawing.
  • The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the notification date, or a new winner will be selected.
  • The winner must arrange to pick up their prize at Summit Academy (11508 Main Street, Louisville, KY 40243) or arrange for the prize to be shipped at his or her own cost.
  • All taxes and other expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • The raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law.
